International Workshop In Endourology In Turin, Italy.

Organized by Cesare Scoffone and his superb team and supported by Boston Scientific and Karl Storz, a really interesting workshop in Endourology was held in Cottolengo Hospital in Turin.
Two days of very heavy activity, reviewing al the technical details, topics, tips and tricks of the Endoscopic Combined Intra- Renal Surgery (ECIRS).
Gaspar Ibarluzea from Urologia Clinica BIlbao started with the History, from prone to supine and from supine to ECIRS.
The organization of the OR was explained by Cesare Scoffone.
Andras Hozneck from Henri Mondor Hospital in Creteil, France, focused in the correct positioning for simultaneous endourological acces in supine position.
Luigi Cormio from the Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation, University of Foggia, Italy, explainded his experiences on Exits strategies following percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
Three live surgerys, each one as interesting as the next, were performed by Ibarluzea, Scoffone and Hozneck.
There were an interactive discusion among all the participants in the workshop.
